PRESS RELEASE – Make Believe Bexleyheath Student in Samsung Advert

Make Believe Worldwide Ltd are proud to announce the success of student Eva Wang who features in the new Samsung Christmas advert which features on TV and in Cinemas all over the world.

Eva (age 9) has attended the Make Believe Bexleyheath branch for 3 years. The Bexleyheath branch is led by Principal Joseph Greenslade.

Eva joined the agency almost straight away after joining Make Believe after showing off her confidence in all aspects of performing arts.

Eva’s mum Xiaojing said: “We were so excited when we found out she had got the part. She had been on many auditions before, so we didn’t think anything of it, so it was a big shock.”

Principal Joseph said: “Eva is one of our most dedicated students. She never misses a week and is always the first person to put her hand up to try out a new game or exercise. Thanks to her and her teachers hard work and persistence we have watched her confidence grow week on week and she is a true example of hard work pays off.”

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have 50 schools in and around London, Australia and most recently Manchester, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award. The Make Believe head office is now based at The Stratford Circus Theatre, home to the 2012 Olympics.

Joel said: To provide our students with a platform to enable them to do what they love is why we do what we do. Here is to many more incredible achievements to an amazing young performer!”

The Make Believe agency (MB Talent) is now run by Eilidh McCole who has been running it for nearly a year and a half and has seen a boom in auditions and success rates!

Talent Agent, Eilidh McCole said: “Eva has been with MB Talent since my first day! I am so happy that she is finally able to showcase her skills to the world of TV! She is a little star and always gives her auditions 100%.”
