PRESS RELEASE – MAKE BELIEVE SUTTON STUDENT STARS IN ALDI ADVERT

Make Believe Worldwide Ltd are proud to announce the success of student Savannah Ward who featured in the Aldi Christmas advert on TV.

Savannah (age 8) lives in Wallington where she attends Highview Primary School and attends the Make Believe Sutton branch where she does classes in singing, acting & dancing every Friday.

Savannah joined the agency almost straight away after joining Make Believe after showing off her confidence in all aspects of performing arts.

Savannah’s mum Hayley said: “We were so excited when we found out she had got the part. She had been on many auditions before, so we didn’t think anything of it, so it was a big shock. I was on set with her filming, everyone was so lovely and we all had lots of fun.”

Savannah said: “I was so excited to tell all of my friends I was on TV, when I’m older I want to be an actress or work in a shop.”

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have 50 schools in and around London, Australia and most recently Manchester, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award. The Make Believe head office is now based at The Stratford Circus Theatre, home to the 2012 Olympics.

Joel said: To provide our students with a platform to enable them to do what they love is why we do what we do. Here is to many more incredible achievements to an amazing young performer!”

The Make Believe agency (MB Talent) is now by Eilidh McCole who has been running it for nearly 2 years and has seen a boom in auditions and success rates!

Talent Agent, Eilidh McCole said: “Savannah has been on the Agency books with me from the beginning, she is a true little star!”

Make Believe Sutton runs on Friday evenings 5:30-8:30pm at Overton Grange, Stanley Road, Sutton, SM2 6TQ and offers children aged 3-18 the chance to sing, act and dance.
