PRESS RELEASE – MB TALENT CELEBRATE ANOTHER SUCCESS AS STUDENT APPEARS IN HIVE ADVERT

Make Believe Worldwide Ltd are proud to announce another success as MB Talent agency student, Anna Somerville, appears in the new Hive TV advert.

17 year old Anna who lives in Woking, has been with MB Talent for a year and has been on many auditions. This month alone she had been on 4 different auditions and didn’t want to get her hopes up for this one.

Anna had appeared in many stage shows including ‘Annie’ and television was also something she wanted to venture into especially as Drama is her first love and she is currently studying it for her A Levels.

Anna said: “When I found out I had got the job I had tears in my eyes. I called my grandma first to tell her who was really pleased for me. The whole experience was so exciting, going for a costume fitting in a professional studio and then filming for 10 hours in just 1 day, it felt so surreal. I really want to pursue a career in drama and I hope this is just the beginning.”

MB Talent is based at the head office in Stratford and is headed by Eilidh McCole who has been running it for 2 years and has seen a huge increase in success rates.

Eilidh said: “I was elated when the call came in to say Anna got the job! She is so committed to Acting and always up for giving every opportunity 100%. Luckily, this time around, all that hard work and going to auditions over and over finally paid off! She is truly deserving of success in the industry and I have every confidence that there is a lot more to come for Anna!”

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have 50 schools in and around London, Australia and most recently Manchester, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award. The Make Believe head office is now based at The Stratford Circus Theatre, home to the 2012 Olympics.

Joel said: “To provide our students with a platform to enable them to do what they love is exactly why we do what we do. It’s a privilege to see another talented student on the screen.”

To be able to join the MB Talent agency children need to be Make Believe students first. For more information on how to join a school near you please visit www.makebelievegroup.co.uk or email info@makebelievegroup.co.uk
