PRESS RELEASE – MB TALENT CELEBRATE ANOTHER SUCCESS AS STUDENT APPEARS IN NIKE ADVERT

Make Believe Worldwide Ltd are proud to announce another success as MB Talent agency student, Lois Hale, appears in the new Nike ‘Nothing Beats A Londoner’ TV advert.

13 year old Lois who lives in Little Hadham, Ware, has been with MB Talent for a year and has been on many auditions.

Lois attends Birchwood High School and is always the first to audition for school productions and any local productions going on. Her dream is to continue her career in the performing arts world.

Lois said: “I was so excited when I found out I’d got the job. It was amazing to be able to tell all of my friends and family and it’s really cool watching the advert when it comes on the television.”

Lois’ mum Tanya said: “I was elated when I found out she got the role. I was with her on set filming for 2 days which was a great experience, very interesting and eye opening as to how they do things.”

MB Talent is based at the head office in Stratford and is headed by Eilidh McCole who has been running it for 2 years and has seen a huge increase in success rates.

Eilidh said: “I am so happy for Lois, she has had a few auditions now and finally this was the one for her! Her passion, hard work and perseverance finally paid off.”

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have 50 schools in and around London, Australia and most recently Manchester, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award. The Make Believe head office is now based at The Stratford Circus Theatre, home to the 2012 Olympics.

Joel said: “To provide our students with a platform to enable them to do what they love is exactly why we do what we do. It’s a privilege to see another talented student on the screen.”

To be able to join the MB Talent agency children need to be Make Believe students first. For more information on how to join a school near you please visit www.makebelievegroup.co.uk or email info@makebelievegroup.co.uk
