PRESS RELEASE – FROM HOLLYWOOD TO BGT, KIT CRANSTON DOES IT AGAIN

Kit Cranston, aged 8, now stars in the new advert for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent alongside the judges; Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

See the link to the advert here

He recently starred in Ridley Scott’s international feature film, “All The Money In The World” alongside Christopher Plummer, Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams.

Kit, who is from Meopham, Kent, attends Make Believe Sevenoaks and was immediately snapped up by the agency, MB Talent! Led by Principal Kim Thursfield, the Sevenoaks school can give 60 children aged 3 to 18 expert tuition in dance, acting and singing. The branch is based in Lady Boswell’s Church of England Primary School, Plymouth Drive, Sevenoaks, TN13 3RW. Class times are 10am – 1pm on Saturday mornings.

Kit said: “It was really exciting starring in the advert, we got to throw confetti around and make a lot of mess!”

Kits’ mum Alyson was on set with him during the filming and said: “We got to see Amanda Holden as she was getting into her Queen Elizabeth costume which looked amazing but very uncomfortable.”

Kim Thursfield said: “Kit is incredibly confident and I’m so happy he is landing more and more jobs. It’s so exciting and a great opportunity for a child of his age to be able to experience these amazing opportunities.”

Founded by Joel Kern in 2004 Make Believe have 50 schools in and around London, Australia and Hove, teaching youngsters the basic skills in the performing arts. Kern, who started Make Believe aged 15 by teaching five students to sing, dance and act, has seen the company grow into one of the most exciting performing arts companies with around 3500 children enjoying the after-school classes on a weekly basis. And with a raft of talent coming out of the Make Believe Talent Agency (including youngsters landing roles in West end Musicals, TV shows and adverts) the future is looking very bright for the Ilford-based producer who won the Federation of Small Business Young Entrepreneur of the year for South East England award.

Joel said: “I could not be prouder! This is exactly why we do what we do and I’m delighted that a special young boy such as Kit is achieving such wonderful things at such a young age.

The Make Believe Agency (MB Talent) is run by Eilidh McCole, who has been at the company for 2 years, and has seen a boom in auditions and success rates since her takeover!

Talent Agent, Eilidh McCole said: “From the beginning, Kit has shown passion and commitment with his acting and performing. He is truly going from strength to strength and there is so much more to come! I am so excited for him.”

As with all its schools, the Sevenoaks branch has a fair pricing policy enabling children of all backgrounds to benefit from the expert tuition.  To apply for a free trial or for more information simply call Kim on 020 8289 5736 or email Sevenoaks@makebelievegroup.co.uk
