PRESS RELEASE – MAKE BELIEVE YOUNGSTER TO MAKE WEST END DEBUT
Make Believe Worldwide Ltd are proud to announce the success of Angelica Scott who successfully auditioned with hundreds of children and will be performing in the West End production of The King And I at The London Palladium from June – September 2018.
Angelica aged 6, has attended Make Believe Ware since the day it opened over a year ago and was quickly snapped up by the agency (MB Talent) with her cheeky personality and confidence. After appearing on our TV screens back in January in Celebrity Big brother (as part of a task) Angelica is now taking to the West End stage and will be performing alongside the original Broadway cast.
Angelica said: “I’m so excited! I always wanted to be on the stage one day and someday I will be on the big screen too!”
Angelica’s dad said: “We put Angelica into Make Believe because she loved to sing and dance, we never thought she would end up doing something like this. We are grateful to all of the people who have supported her and especially the Make Believe family who have opened the door for her. We are so proud of our daughter.”
The Ware branch is led by Principal Sally Foster who said: “When Angelica walked through the doors on our very first day, I knew she possessed something special. The personality and creativity this little girl radiates captured everyone’s hearts here at Make Believe and she has what I can only describe as the X Factor. Watching her grow from the infant class to the junior class has been a wonderful journey and within only 1 year of being with us landed her first TV job and now West End debut. We are all so proud of Anjelica and can’t wait to go and watch her at the Palladium!”
Make Believe Ware runs on Saturday mornings 10am – 1pm at St Mary’s CofE Junior School, Heath Drive, SG12 0RL and offers Singing, Acting and dancing for children aged 3-18.
The Make Believe agency (MB Talent) is now run by Eilidh McCole who has been running it for nearly 2 years and has seen a boom in auditions and success rates!
Talent Agent, Eilidh McCole said: “Angelica is such a talent! She may be small but she has a big personality and can brighten up any room with her smile and passion for performing. We are all so very proud of Angelica – what a brilliant opportunity and such an achievement! We are very much looking forward to cheering her on in the show.”
