How it works

Make Believe is all about developing children’s confidence and self-esteem. We know that some of our students want to tread the boards at the very highest level, but we also know that the industry can be difficult, even ruthless and it’s always advisable to have a person with experience and expertise to guide someone as they take their first steps into the professional industry, and we’re here to offer just that!

If after the audition stages you are signed to MB Talent, we will  start to help you take your first steps into the industry and be there for guidance and support at every step of the way. There is no joining fee to be paid to Make Believe to be part of MB Talent! The only cost is to join Spotlight, and more details can be discussed if successful!

MB TALENT is going to be representing talented individuals in TV, Theatre, Film and Radio. School and non-school members aged four and above will have the chance to be represented.

And to find the kind of talent that will be the Idris Elba’s and Emma Watsons of the next generation is Ollie Buck, who is Senior Talent Agent for our MB TALENT Agency. Ollie brings a wealth of experience from his career in the performing industry, and will use that experience to guide our talented youngsters into the world of theatre, TV and advertising.

Ollie will be regularly visiting the schools and constantly keeping up with the progress of all our students across the network, and also requesting video auditions throughout the year! If after your audition you are selected you will receive a letter of what the next stages are, and he will then be in touch with you in due course.
